Quick Info

Race: Human Role: Warehouse Sentries Affiliation: Bridgeport Warehouse Location: Bridgeport (Avalon) Status: Alive (Wet)

Martin and Roy are two human guards tasked with securing the Bridgeport Warehouse in the docks of Avalon. They are characterized more by their dedication to following orders than by their tactical awareness.

Biography & Personality

Martin and Roy are standard dockside sentries who prioritize their standing orders above all else. Martin appears to be the more vocal and authoritative of the pair, though he is easily unsettled by complex social situations or magical influence. Both guards demonstrate a level of professional anxiety, particularly regarding the strictly prohibited entry of unauthorized personnel into the warehouse. Their commitment to their duty is firm, as even under magical influence, they remained conflicted about allowing the party inside.

Campaign History

  • Entry 31 (The Warehouse Sentry): Martin confronted Temerity at the warehouse doors, leveling his pike to block the bard’s path. Despite Temerity’s attempt to use his “warehouse owner” disguise, Martin refused entry, stating that visitors were not allowed until morning.
  • Entry 31 (Charm and Confusion): After wounding Temerity with his pike, Martin was subjected to a charm person spell. Even while charmed, Martin remained conflicted about his orders. He eventually sought out Roy to discuss the party’s cover story involving “magically enhanced kelpies” in the water.
  • Entry 31 (The River Incident): While the two were preoccupied with their discussion on the quayside, Gage and Lavender sneaked up behind them. Both guards were shoved simultaneously into the river, allowing the party to bypass them and enter the warehouse.
