Greg was the captain of the bandit group that ambushed the party on the road to Onasea.
Interrogation
After being defeated and captured, Greg was interrogated by the party under a zone of truth and detect thoughts. He revealed:
- The Job: He was hired via letter to target “M. Mayfield” (Mary-Ann) specifically, believing she would have gold.
- The Employer: The head of the Thieves’ Guild in Adalens.
- The Stash: He revealed the location of the bandits’ buried gold at a nearby lake house.
Death
Since Mary-Ann was the specific target of the assassination attempt, the party allowed her to decide his fate. She stabbed him in the stomach with her knitting needles and left him to bleed to death.
