Visual Description

Gloomberries are magical fruits that grow upon and fall from the great tree located in the Silvanus’ Beard enclave. They appear as ordinary fruit until they are subjected to impact.

Mechanics & Effects

• Magical Darkness: When the fruit is thrown, dropped, or otherwise explodes on impact, it creates a localized burst of magical darkness.

Lore & History

These berries are primarily utilized by the druid children of Silvanus’ Beard to facilitate pranks and tricks. During the party’s arrival at the enclave, Temerity witnessed the effects firsthand when children disguised as birds used wildshape to drop the fruit from the canopy. The children later approached Lavender to request funds specifically to purchase a larger supply of the berries.
