Visual Description

The censer is a magical vessel constructed from black metal with intricate gold filigree. At the time of its discovery, it was noted to be emitting a small amount of smoke.

Mechanics & Effects

Initially recognized by Gage as having an incense scent associated with cleansing, the item has been determined to be fundamentally perverted. According to Halsen, the censer no longer cures ailments as intended but likely does the opposite, inflicting sickness or necrosis upon those exposed to it.

Lore & History

The censer was one of several artifacts discovered within the Bridgeport Warehouse during a party raid. It was found concealed inside a stone statue. Following the battle, the item was transported to Silvanus’ Beard, where Halsen performed an inspection and identified its malicious corruption.
