Visual Description

The Imperial Courier Bag is a professional satchel belonging to the elven courier Loraleia. It was found during an investigation of a quarantined sickroom aboard the Paddle Steamer. The bag bears a specific insignia identifying it as part of an official service used by the wealthy and influential to carry important correspondence.

Mechanics & Effects

The bag is designed to securely transport sensitive documents. While in the party’s possession, Gage successfully used his specialized tools to carefully pry off the seals of the letters within to copy their contents. He was then able to restore the seals to their original state to avoid detection by the courier or other authorities.

Lore & History

The bag was identified by Theren as a mark of the Imperial Courier service. When discovered, it contained five Encoded Letters, two of which were written by Lavender’s brother, Orris Locke. These letters contained critical intelligence regarding “Operation Green Spill” and the hunt for “Winter’s Core”.
