He is calculated and transactional, willing to bargain for his own interests even in the heat of combat.
As a leader, he is feared by his subordinates and well-known in the criminal underworld. He is a formidable spellcaster, capable of high-level magic such as dimensional shifting and heat-based blasts. While his direct connection to the Necromancers is ambiguous, he frequently operates in their proximity and utilizes their resources for his business dealings.

- Entry 21 (The Mausoleum Stand-off): Discovered as the cloaked figure on a high-backed chair overseeing a mining operation in a hidden mausoleum. After the party attacked his guards and rock golem, Zadhir used a heat blast to magically vanish Lavender into a cold void. He negotiated for the party’s departure, returning Lavender to their campsite only after they agreed to leave his facility.
- Entry 23 (The Shady Reputation): While in Midward, Gage learns via thieves’ cant that Zadhir is the proprietor of the Jade Zephyr Casino and is a man who should not be crossed under any circumstances.
- Entry 24 (The Casino Meeting): The party encounters Zadhir in the high-roller section of his casino. Despite recognizing each other from the mausoleum, they engage in a tense parley. Zadhir hires the party as a security detail for his caravan heading to Adalens, mockingly noting Lavender’s noble etiquette during a handshake.
