The Harbourmaster’s Office is the administrative center for the port authority in Avalon. It is located near the docks in the Bridgeport area.
Inhabitants & Staff
- Water Genasi Harbourmaster: The head official. She is generally unhelpful and dislikes getting involved in city matters, though she has a soft spot for rabbits.
- Halfling Secretary: An officious woman who guards the entrance. She strictly enforces appointments and attempted to bar Lavender and Gage from entering, demanding paperwork and refusing to accept their claims of “city guard business”.
Our Experience
The Smuggling Barge (Day 3)
We first visited here to report a smuggling barge. The harbourmaster was uncooperative until Temerity let her play with Korako.
The Missing Horses (Day 22)
We returned to investigate a seal fragment found at The Slippery Ostrich. We were stopped by the halfling secretary, leading to an argument. Lavender eventually pushed past her into the main office. Inside, the harbourmaster (reluctantly) identified the seal as belonging to a specific shipping company.
