Korako
Character Overview
Race: Rabbit (Fey-touched)
Class: Animal Companion
Affiliation: Temerity / The Menagerie
Location: Tidecaller (Ship)
Status: Alive (Immortal)
Korako is the unusually intelligent and magical companion of Temerity. Appearing to be a mundane rabbit at first glance, he shares a telepathic bond with his “father,” Temerity, and serves as a vital - and occasionally distracting - member of the party.
Biography & Personality
Korako is fiercely devoted to Temerity, whom he identifies as his father. He is known for his extreme loyalty, famously rejecting attempts to find him other “bunny friends” because he is content with their unique bond. Beyond simple companionship, Korako possesses an uncanny “Cute Effect” that borders on the supernatural; strangers, guards, and even hostile creatures are often driven to immediate obsession or distraction upon seeing him.
He is highly opinionated about his diet and surroundings. While he once suffered from severe colic after being fed Dragon Meat, he has been known to happily consume thistles intended as an insult. Despite his small size, he acts as a stabilizing presence for the party’s other animal companions, though he was initially annoyed by the hyperactive nature of the snow fox, Aurius.
Campaign History

- Entry 02 (The Thistle Garnish): While in Avalon, Korako showcased his “Cute Effect” on a cynical innkeeper and delighted the party by eating an inedible garnish of thistles.
- Entry 03 (The Fey Boon): During the party’s time in the fey realm, Summer imbued Korako with a blessing that caused him to cease ageing, granting him true immortality.

- Entry 11 (The Flaring Torch): Korako was temporarily blinded by a magical torch in the spider tunnels, causing him to panic until he was comforted by Temerity and Chikatika.
- Entry 15 (The Relaxation Aid): Temerity used Korako to try and calm Lavender during a fit of rage in Arcadia, though the rabbit felt unsafe in the proximity of her intense power.
- Entry 22 (Emotions of Failure): Following the party’s defeat in the Mausoleum (Alpine Forest), Korako spoke to Temerity about the sadness he felt from the group and encouraged him to help his companions.
- Entry 32 (The Golem Scent): Korako detected the “bad smell” of necromancy in the Bridgeport Warehouse, successfully alerting the party to the presence of the possessed mason and his statues.
