The Tavern is an inn located in Mightrest, run by the half-orc proprietor, Gorg. It features rooms for lodging upstairs and a kitchen where the Gnome Cook works.

Recording Orbs
The tavern is equipped with crystal orbs that can record and replay events. Double-tapping an orb activates its playback function, as demonstrated by Gorg after a fight between Temerity and the gnome cook.

Gorg: The half-orc innkeeper. He is exasperated by his cook but keeps him employed due to his skill. Gorg has some magical ability and claims to have traveled to the upper planes, where he heard whispers of a being called the
[[Wild Wanderer]]. -
Gnome Cook: The tavern’s cook, who works in the kitchen. He has a bizarre and confrontational personality, challenging Temerity to a fight over Lavender.
Our Experience
We have stayed at The Tavern on two separate occasions.
First Visit (Day 4)
After arriving in Mightrest, we took rooms here and met Orion. The Gnome Cook delivered food to our room, which led to a strange confrontation where he challenged Temerity to a fight for Lavender’s affection. This escalated into a brawl in the kitchen, which Gorg broke up before forcing them to calm down. Gorg later gave Lavender a crystal orb that replayed the entire altercation.
Second Visit (Day 5)
We returned to the inn after cleansing Auriel’s Church of a frost troll. While the rest of us recovered, Temerity spoke with Gorg about his rabbit, Korako. Gorg shared that during a past trip to the upper planes, he learned of a being known as the [[Wild Wanderer]], which might be the nature god we seek. The next morning, the gnome served us breakfast before we set out for the Alpine Forest.
