Temple of Sol

The Temple of Sol is a large religious building in Avalon dedicated to Sol, the god of the sun.

Layout

• Main Hall: A large area for the congregation where sermons are held. It does not appear to have any overt necromantic symbols.
• Staff Area: Accessible via a back door behind the altar or stealthily from the side. It contains a corridor with six rooms:
  • Dormitories: Two rooms containing basic sleeping quarters.
  • Study: Contains desks and manuscripts. Gage found books on Sol and one on Auriel here, along with a cloudy dark gem hidden in a drawer.
  • Refectory: A dining area with a long table and benches.
  • Privy: A standard toilet.

Notable Events

Gage and Theren investigated this temple suspecting necromantic activity. Gage infiltrated the staff area while Theren created a (failed) distraction. They were eventually caught and brought before the head priest. It was revealed that the clergy is being coerced by the necromancers, and the priest is acting against his will.

• Priest of Sol (Avalon): The head priest who is currently being blackmailed by necromancers.
