Located at the southern edge of The Frost, Frostpeak Pass marks the transition from the temperate lands of the Avalonean Empire to the frozen north. The pass itself cuts through the mountains, providing one of the few accessible routes deeper into the northern territories.
Accessible by road from Avalon, making it a key stopping point for anyone travelling north.
Character
A hardy frontier settlement built around the needs of travellers. The village exists primarily to serve those brave (or foolish) enough to venture into the mountains beyond. Despite the harsh climate, it maintains a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

Our Experience
We stayed at the Golden Griffin on Day 3 of our journey. The village served as a perfect waystation as we pursued our quarry northward from Avalon.
The innkeeper provided valuable information about the griffins in the area, which proved useful for our travels. Frostpeak Pass marked our transition from civilized lands into the harsher territories of The Frost.
