Dragon’s Nest

Overview
The mountain lair of the ice dragon we were contracted to hunt. It is a high-altitude cave exposed to the harsh weather of The Frost.
Features
The nest was filled with the refuse of a predator:
- Piles of bones
- Scraps of fur and skin
- Scattered debris
- A makeshift shelter built by Theren
Based on the signs, Theren determined that the lair was occupied by only a single creature.
Our Experience
We tracked the ice dragon to this lair on Day 6. After a long climb, we engaged the dragon in a ferocious battle. The creature’s icy breath and powerful attacks nearly overwhelmed us, but we managed to exploit its moments of rage. The fight culminated with Lavender jumping onto the dragon and plunging her sword into its eye, killing it.
The following morning (Day 7), we carved up the carcass. Theren retrieved some of its teeth, and Temerity hacked off the tail, proclaiming it the best part to eat. He cooked the Dragon Meat for the party, and we feasted on the dragon steaks.
To protect us from the exposed, high-altitude conditions, Theren constructed a makeshift shelter from the debris in the nest while Orion built a small fire.
